I used to weigh 180lbs, can you believe that?
I tried every fad diet out there, south beach, the HCG diet, weight watchers, the atkins, paleo, the lemon juice and maple cleanse. .
And here’s what happened. . .
I would lose 10lbs and then gain back 20, after a few rounds of this I went from 110 to 180 over the course of 4 years. 4 years of trying new diets and to stay skinny!
After that, I was exhausted, I just gave up, I accepted the fact that this is how my body
Will look, and I should just accept it and stop fighting it.
The problem I found here is that these diet plans were not a lifestyle. They didn’t teach me how to meal prep, they didn’t teach me the concepts of why I was eating so little or so many times per day. Why some foods I should avoid and which ones I can go crazy on. I was SOOOOO confused. I was frustrated with my body,
I didn't like who I saw in the mirror. I was sad, depressed, and would avoid going out at times because I couldn’t feel sexy in a dress.
I was ALONE, I was DEFEATED, I was LOST.
I created the Girl Power Tribe, because I don't want this to happen to ANYONE!
The gym shouldn’t be an intimidating place, it should feel like home, where you have your favorite spots, favorite workouts and a time where you can truly focus on you! Abs are made in the kitchen, but what foods should you avoid? And what foods you can splurge on? How do you make healthy meals taste good? And How do I
continue to eat dessert and still lose weight?
